License Agreement and Product Activation

License Agreement

I/We agree to the below listed terms and conditions in order to install/use the Legacy Systems Inventory Management Application (hereafter named as LSIM application)

Legacy Systems reserves the right to revise the charges to be paid for a fresh installation, subscription or support without any advanced notice

The LSIM application and its code/application files is the property of Legacy Systems (legacy.net.in)

No changes or modifications will be made to the LSIM application and its code/application files by us

I/We have purchased a non-transferable license to use the LSIM application by paying all the required license fee in advance

I/We will make all the subscription charge payments, if applicable, to use the LSIM application, and understand that the failure of paying subscription will authorize Legacy Systems and/or its representatives to suspend access to the application, until the payment due and any penalties are paid in full

Legacy systems or its representatives may access the application database for the purpose of database backup for cloud hosted environments, if applicable

I/We will not copy, redistribute or modify the LSIM application and its associated code and/or files

I/We are responsible to make sure that the application is used as per the applicable law of the country where it is hosted and used, and Legacy Systems will not be held responsible for any financial or legal liabilities which arises due to the usage of this application

The application is provided as-is and I/We are responsible for making sure that the LSIM application is suitable for our use-case and all features are working without any problems

The support from Legacy Systems for bug fixes and/or new features will depend on the existence of a valid support contract or cloud subscription as applicable between me/us and Legacy Systems, with all payments made in advance

In case of a bug or new feature request, sufficient time will be required by Legacy Systems to develop, test and deploy a fix/feature based on the complexity of the bug/feature communicated during the bug report or feature request

Bug report or feature request can be made to Legacy Systems only if there is a valid support contract or cloud subscription existing between me/us and Legacy Systems

I/We will notify Legacy Systems at least 30 calendar days in advance in case I/we wish to discontinue using the application

I/We will permanently delete all code and/or application files except the database file in case I/we wish to discontinue using the application

Upon termination of contract and/or service of LSIM application hosted in a Cloud Infrastructure managed by Legacy Systems, a database dump extracted using mysqldump utility from the LSIM database used by us will be provided to me/us upon request

Upon termination of contract and/or service of LSIM application, all application hosted data, code and backups will be deleted after 30 days of service termination

I/We will request for a database dump in case of service termination, within 30 days of the termination of the said service

In case of an on-premise install, it is my/our responsibility to ensure that the database backup from the machine where the LSIM application is installed is taken periodically, and is available to restore the database in case of any database malfunction

This document is a legally valid contract between me/us (undersigned) and Legacy Systems
